Sergio was born in Lima, Peru, to a Japanese Peruvian family and moved to the U.S. at the age of 10, growing up in St. Louis, Missouri. In 2017, he relocated to NYC to open Llama San and has been with the company for seven years, serving as CDC at both Llama Inn and Llama San. Passionate about his craft, Sergio also enjoys ceviche, Busch beer, softball, and the music of Los Saicos.
